Mental Health Advisory Group (MHAG)

Invitation to attend AOTI Mental Health Advisory Group Study Day Friday 10th February 2012.

The next study day for the AOTI Mental Health Advisory Group (MHAG) is taking place on Friday 10th February 2012 at Dr. Steeven's Hospital, Dublin 8 from 9:30am - 4pm.
There will be a total of 8 presentations covering a variety of areas of practice within mental health OT including assessment, practice interventions and educational material. (See below for details) We also will have two presentations from the HSE Mental Health representatives with respect to the emerging Clinical Directorates and the new 'E-learning Mental Health Hub' with respect to the Mental Health Act.
Attendance is for AOTI members. Cost of admission is free. Recent graduates from the OT colleges who are members (note reduced AOTI membership rate options on membership form) looking to develop their knowledge with respect to mental health practice are very welcome. OT students (note AOTI student membership rate) on mental health placement will be given priority with respect to student booking applications Places are limited and early booking is advised. There will be opportunities to view a wide variety of mental health assessments and to network with colleagues in similar areas of practice during the day.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Restaurant facilities available on site in the Dr. Steevens cafeteria.
