10.15 – 11.15         Dare, Disability Services, and OT support at third level

Susan Madigan, Senior Occupational Therapist, Disability Services, DCU.

In this presentation Susan will give an outline of the disability services in DCU and her role as an Occupational Therapist role in providing ongoing support for young people attending third level education.

11.15 – 11.45        Tea/Coffee Break

11.45 – 12.45       CAMHS to Inpatient, Inpatient to CAMHS

Aoife O’Malley, Clinical Manager of the Barnahus service Galway. Prior to this Aoife worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist in Inpatient CAMHS, Merlin Park Hospital Galway.

Presentation and discussion of the role of Occupational therapy with those young people attending an inpatient unit.

12.45 – 13.30          Lunch

 13.30 – 13.50        CAMH AG  AGM

Update on what is currently happening with the CAMH AG including Chair, Treasurer and Secretary Reports.

13.50 –  15.50        CAMHS to AMHS

Bridget Harney, Senior Occupational Therapist,  Ballyfermot Community Health team.

In this session, Bridget will give an overview of how adult services operate, particularly in the context of transition from CAMHS.  Part of the session will be used to explore as a group how to progress best practises for young people during this transition.
