Discover Recover Theatre Projects Production of “A Face in the Crowd” is being hosted by Reach RCSI, the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery and the Psychiatric Nurses Association of Ireland (PNA) and Cornmarket.
Winners of the AOTI Ann Beckett Award in 2016, this co-produced piece of theatre brings to life the real human experience of indiviudals who experience mental health difficulties. The project originated as a partnership project between the HSE Wexford Mental Health Services and the Wexford Mental Health Association.
The Discover Recover Theatre Project is led by two Occupational Therapists Paula Lowney and Mairead Connaughton working in conjunction with Niall O’Muiri, Retired Psychiatric Nurse, Wexford Mental Health Association and Story Tellers, Liam O’Rourke, Patricia O’Neill, John Cloney, Jennifer O’Brien and Helen Finn. The current drama production is produced and directed by Jim Roche.
