There are now almost 24,000 Health and Social Care professionals regulated by CORU. As the regulation process evolves it is time to ask, what does fitness to practice mean for me?

 

INDI is delighted to invite you to Fitness to Practice and You. This online lunch time event will be held on the 28th of September 2022 at 1 pm. It  is free and open to all Health and Social care Professionals.  

 

  • Ginny Hanrahan CEO of CORU will open the event and give us and update on regulation so far.
  • JP McDowell, Managing Partner of Fieldfisher LLP in Ireland and Partner in the Public and Regulatory/Planning and Environmental Law Department  of the practice will discuss the area of public protection  and regulatory law  Fieldfisher has acted as prosecuting  solicitor for CORU.
  • Liz Lyons, Solicitor at Hayes McGrath LLP provides legal advice and representation in respect of healthcare regulatory matters defending matters on behalf of Pharmacists and Healthcare Professionals.
