The CPNG, the ISCP (The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists) clinical interest group for Neurology and Gerontology are running a free webinar series on the topic of Dementia with presenters from various clinical backgrounds.
Tuesday 26th November: "The OT role in Dementia and Assistive Technology and Cognitive Stimulation" - presented by Simone Ryan, Occupational Therapist, PhD Candidate UL Sphere Programme
Tuesday 3rd December: "Cognitive Screening and Assessment with Older Adults. Looking beyond the numbers and cut-points." - presented by Professor Unai Diaz Orueta - Professor of Psychology Maynooth University
Tuesday 10th December: "Dementia it’s Communication Skills Using Dance"- presented by Kate Irving, DCU Genio Programme and Professor of Clinical Nursing, DCU
Tuesday 21st January 2025: "The Certificate in Dementia Care, a specialised QQI Level 5 course developed by LHP Skillnet" - presented by Dr Michael Brennan, Programme Lead and Head Tutor Certificate in Dementia Care.
