The course will take place on February 20 & 27 2025.
This 2 day (5.5 hours per day) virtual training introduces the process of occupational formulation and negotiating measurable goals, as outlined by Parkinson & Brooks (2021).
About the course:
The training is based on the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and supports therapists to succinctly, yet comprehensively, synthesize assessment information into an occupation-focused narrative that can be shared with the individual.
Each formulation builds a compelling rationale for change and facilitates the identification of treatment priorities, which in turn enables the creation of measurable goals. This person-centered and collaborative process is highly recommended by occupational therapists who are striving for an effective way to articulate their professional reasoning and ensure that occupation is central to their practice.
