Parents Plus: Free Special Needs seminar

Launch of Special Needs Programme,

Marguerite Lehane and Eleanor Kent, Social Workers from the CAMHS Intellectual Disability service in Corkand Ciara Ní Raghallaigh, from Scoil Chiaran in Dublin, will discuss how the Special Needs Programme has worked in their services.

Suzanne Mc Mahon and Charlotte Wilson from Trinity College Dublin, will outline the positive impacts of the programme based on studies involving 25 services and 300+ parents. 

The HSE Disability services are important partners in the delivery of the PPSN and we are pleased to have Dr Michael Byrne from the National Disability Children & Families Team, join us as a speaker. 

Most importantly we are delighted to have several parents speak on the day who will share their experience of taking part in the parents plus groups.
