ABI are writing to you to update you on the Step Ahead Plus service. Please share with any colleagues that you may feel require this information.

Step Ahead Plus is our free, national vocational assessment and rehabilitation service. It is for adults with an acquired brain injury who want to return to work, training or education.

Service Overview

Step Ahead Plus is a nationwide service, open to brain injury survivors 16+ who wish to return to work or education. Our delivery is a blend of face-to-face assessment and vocational rehabilitation via telehealth. Visit our website here to learn more and view our flyer.

Location of Step Ahead Clinics

• Dublin service (Clondalkin)
• Cork clinic (Mallow) – Please note this service does not currently have an Occupational Therapist in post due to lack of funding. We are hoping to reopen this clinic in 2024. In the meantime, participants are offered virtual service only or invited to travel to Dublin for a face-to-face assessment
