Ann Beckett Award 2021

Final call for applications - closing date 31st October 2020!

The Ann Beckett Award is a prestigious honour given annually by the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland in recognition of excellence in Occupational Therapy practice. It is named after Ann Beckett who was the first professionally qualified occupational therapist to work in Ireland. Ann was an outstanding occupational therapist and was devoted to people, nature, music and her profession. Through her work she enriched many lives with her humanity, humour and practical approach to life.

The Award celebrates the life and work of Ann Beckett and showcases occupational therapists’ innovative and practical interventions that demonstrate the core principals of Occupational Therapy. The Committee in particular look for practical projects and creative ideas which inspire colleagues and clients and are occupation-based. The Ann Beckett Award Committee now issues its final call for entries for Occupational Therapy interventions to be considered for the 2021 Ann Beckett Award. 

To submit an application please complete the application form which will include a brief description of the intervention/project being submitted
