Cognitive Assessment and Treatment in People with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland: A National Survey
Researchers at the National University of Ireland Galway are looking to recruit healthcare professionals who are currently working in Ireland and have experience working with people with MS, to complete a short survey about these experiences.
As part of the COB-MS research program conducted from NUI Galway (i.e. Cognitive Occupation-Based program for people with MS), the research team have developed a short survey for healthcare practitioners in Ireland, with experience working with patients with MS, in order to assess what is the usual care (or ‘treatment-as-usual’) being provided – particularly to those with cognitive difficulties.
“Cognitive Assessment and Treatment in People with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland: A National Survey”
Between 40-65% of people with MS have cognitive difficulties, which impacts on their quality of life. However, little is known about ‘treatment-as-usual’ and assessment strategies for cognitive impairment in people with MS. As a result, this National Survey aims to explore and better understand these processes from the perspective of healthcare professionals in Ireland.
The research team invite you to participate in this research by filling out a short survey about your experiences with assessment and treatment of cognitive impairment in people with MS via the link below, which includes more detailed information about the study: https://bit.ly/3toqazq
The team are looking to recruit healthcare professionals who:
