Cork Council Council - Tender for Provision of Occupational Therapist Services

 

  • Cork County Council has advertised through eTenders 17th June 2022 for the Provision of Occupational Therapist Services for the next four years
  • The intention is to form a Multi-Party Framework / Panel
  • The Multi-Party Framework will be subdivided into 10 panels to cover 10 lots (areas) within Cork County Council Administrative Area and not including the City Area. A map is provided as part of the tender documents showing the area of each lot
  • Each of these lots will result in a separate framework of successful tenderers (10 panels, one for each area on map)
  • Each Lot will be further subdivided into two sub lots: One covering Local Authority owned homes and the other covering privately owned homes. Each of these lots will result in a separate framework of successful tenderers
  • Applicants can indicate which lot / area they wish to apply to be included on relevant frameworks / panels. Applicants should only apply for lots / areas that they will realistically be able to provide the service required
  • The framework / panel for each lot / area will operate using the rotation method where a call-off contract may be awarded by application of the terms laid down in the Framework Agreement
  • Under this method, the award of a first call-off contract will be made on the basis of the ranking of tenders on foot of the tender process
  • Admission to the framework / panel will be based on the most economically advantageous fee for 1st visit and assessment and tenderer will be ranked according to this fee on the framework. The fee is set for the period of the framework
  • Only tenders which meet the Selection Criteria and are confirmed as valid and responsive to the specifications set out in the tender document will be evaluated against the award criteria. Tenderers should ensure that they have submitted sufficient relevant
  • Cork County Council will complete a call-off request, through application of the rotation method whereby contracts are awarded based on the ranking assigned to the tenderer at the establishment of the framework and using a rotation through the framework from members 1 to 10 on a continual, cyclical basis. information to allow their tenders to be assessed
  • The closing date for queries through eTenders is 4 pm on Friday 15th July 2022. The closing date for receipt of applications for the tender through the tender post box is 4 pm on Friday 29th July 2022
