News from the Journal team

We say thank you to Sherrie Buckley for her time spent on this committee and service to the journal as she steps down.

We welcomed Dr Jackie Fox from University of Galway to the Editorial team and we are hoping to confirm Associate Editors with publishing experience from clinical practice in coming months, part of our commitment to developing a open access journal that represents evidence dissemination for academic and practice purposes.

Interesting fact about the Irish Journal of Occupational Therapy – by far the most common users of this journal are individuals in the Health Service Executive.

Heartening to see evidence being considered in practice through this journal, related to AOTI’s commitment to Open Access, so that users of research can access it without paywalls.

If you are interested in submitting an article, reviewing for the journal or being involved in other ways, please do get in touch to discuss further at [email protected]
