Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) - a two year research project
Title is ‘The Impact of Social Farming placement(s) on an individual’s occupational functioning and quality of life’
From September 2021, Social Farming Ireland will be collaborating with researchers from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) on a two year research project which will involve clinical research on the impacts and benefits of Social Farming for those experiencing mental health challenges.
This Project has received funding under the prestigious LYIT President’s Research Bursaries programme and will provide a bursary for a full-time Masters student (who must be an Occupational Therapy graduate) to conduct national level research.
