Update from Children's Rights Alliance: Seeking Parents Views of Children with autism on their experience of accessing early learning and care
On behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, the Children's Rights Alliance is running a consultation process to seek the views of parents of children with autism on their experience of accessing early learning and care.
The aim of the consultation is to be informed by parents of:
- The issues they are encountering in accessing early learning and care for their child
- When in early learning and care the issues that are arising
There will be two ways in which parents can have their views heard:
- By taking part in an online group consultation
- By taking part in an online survey
The responses received from both will feed into the work of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth which will seek to promote equal participation and access for all children to services in early learning and care.
Online Group Consultation Dates
- 12 August, 11am - 12pm (Zoom)
- 13 August, 7 - 8pm (Zoom)
