This free AOTI webinar is aimed at those about to embark on their career as an Occupational Therapist or who are in the early stages of this journey. It provides information on what to expect when starting out in your professional career along with practical tips tailored to the new graduate stage. Valuable advice and perspectives are given from both an Occupational Therapy Manager and a New Graduate Occupational Therapist. In addition, important information on continuing professional development (CPD) is provided by AOTI's Director of Professional Development.
This webinar aims to provide new graduates with encouragement and confidence to start off their careers in the best way possible. Odhrán Allen, CEO of AOTI, moderates this session.

3) Siobhán Hanley, AOTI Director of Professional Development
- Provides an overview of what CPD is and what the requirements for Occupational Therapists are in line with CORU standards
- Provides advice on best ways to manage CPD for new graduates
- Gives an overview of AOTI CPD resources including the AOTI CPD portfolio, regularly run CPD events and the AOTI e-Learning Centre
