Discover Recovery Through Activity!
Join Occupational Therapists Una Belton and Niamh Gibney for a 3.5-hour virtual workshop designed to bring recovery-focused practice to life. Rooted in the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO), this interactive training explores how everyday activities can support wellbeing and long-term recovery.

Course Aims:

You’ll gain:
 A clear understanding of Recovery Through Activity
 Practical tools and resources you can use right away
 Inspiration on how to weave occupation into your practice

Understand how to incorporate Recovery Through Activity as part of the Occupational   Therapy Process
Space to reflect, share, and connect with peers

This small-group workshop is a chance to grow your skills, boost your confidence, and re-ignite your passion for occupation-centred care.

About the Facilitators

Una is a registered Occupational Therapist, who trained at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and qualified in 2006. Una has over 13 years’ experience working in adult mental health on Community Mental Health Teams, Inpatient services and Rehab and Recovery Mental Health Services in Ireland.

Niamh is a registered Occupational Therapist who trained in Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 1997. Niamh’s career has included community care older persons services, cardiac rehab and as a Regional Placement Facilitator. Niamh has worked for the past 12 years in Community Adult Mental Health in Ireland.

Niamh and Una are passionate about Occupation Centred practice and have extensive experience delivering occupation focused groups and 1:1 sessions.

Una and Niamh collaborated with Sue Parkinson on Discovery through Activity when they adapted Recovery Through Activity for a virtual group using PowerPoint.

Niamh also contributed to the second edition of Recovery Through Activity.
