AOTI Member Emer Sheridan to Represent WFOT on WHO Group

AOTI is delighted to announce that our member Emer Sheridan has been selected to represent the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Development Group on Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Emer is Senior occupational therapist in the Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Disease Unit in Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services.  We would like to offer our congratulations for her selection on the Development Group.   AOTI is delighted that her nomination by WFOT was accepted.   Other representatives of WFOT on this WHO Development Group include Catherine Backman from Canada and Amy Naudé from South Africa.  As representatives of WFOT,  regular reports will have to be provided to WFOT regarding the work of this initiative.  We understand the work of the Development Group will begin shortly.
