Global Expo 2027: Transforming Health and Social Care through Workforce Optimization, Digital Innovation, Assistive Technology and Disability Inclusion takes place on 24 - 25 February 2027 at the Convention Centre Dublin, co-organized by the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) and the Government of Ireland in partnership with HealthTech Ireland.
The call for abstracts is open across three themes: workforce optimization, assistive technology, and disability inclusion. The deadline has been extended to 25 September 2026. This is a final deadline and will not be extended again.
We are particularly keen to encourage further submissions in assistive technology (Theme 2) and disability inclusion (Theme 3), covering areas such as access, provision and workforce strategies; sustainable financing and markets; partnerships for scale-up; and inclusive, rights-based systems and participation. If your faculty, researchers or students are working in these areas, this is a genuine opportunity to have that work presented internationally and published digitally by WHO.
We would be very grateful if you could share this, along with the information pack, with faculty, researchers, students and networks who may be interested in submitting an abstract or attending.
