New online learning module to support good infection prevention and control practice in community services

Today, HIQA has launched an online learning module to support front-line staff to understand and implement the National Standards for infection prevention and control in community services. These standards apply to all services provided in the community.

The module aims to promote good practice in the area, while also addressing knowledge and skills gaps identified through extensive stakeholder engagement throughout the standards development process. It contains self-reflection questions to help staff to think about how they are already applying the standards, identify areas they may be able to improve and how they might set about doing that.

This digital learning course, will take approximately one hour to complete and can be accessed at this link

Please share this link with your colleagues and any groups, or individuals, you think would be interested in this module.
